Many youth soccer players dream to hit the big time. They want to play under the bright lights and star like Messi, Zidane, Ronaldo and other famous soccer players.
Whether these famous players know it, or even like it or not, they are role models. They are examples to younger kids on how to act off the field and on the field. Kids like to practice and mimic their moves after star players.
On the field they inspire ideas and creativity to the youth player. Ronadinho's elastico, Zidane's skill with the ball, or the many other player's excellent moves, inspire us all.
What makes a famous player great? They probably possess at least a few of these attributes but not necessarily all of them.
